Hi Parents
My name is Andy Carey and I will be coaching your son this year in the Albury U12’s Footy side. I look forward to working with the kids & helping them develop their football to progress through the higher grades.
I will be aiming to help the kids with –
- Having fun both at training & gameday
- Making new friends
- Learn new skills to help develop their footy
- Learn to work as a team and respect each other
If along the way we manage a few wins that will make it even more enjoyable.
Training will commence next Tuesday 5th of February 4:30pm @ Noreuil Park Oval (Ebden Street) South Albury. Training will be Tuesday & Thursday each week 4:30pm – 5:30pm. If you child can’t make training at any stage throughout the year please call or text myself.
I am looking for some parent volunteers to undertake the following roles through the year to ensure your child has the best experience possible and we can all work together as a team to help make this happen. The more volunteers we have the easier it will be for everyone.
- Field Umpires – if we have a couple of these we can rotate who does it each week
- Goal Umpire
- Time Keeper
- Scoreboard attendant
The other thing we need parent volunteers for is canteen assistance throughout the year. We will also aim at getting a different family to wash the jumper each week to spread the load.
The footy club relies on volunteers to ensure our kids have a great experience every time they show up for training and game day. So feel free to get involved in any way you are comfortable as our kids love seeing us in there and having a go and it is a great example to them for their future endeavors.
